Foreigner Snack Tour
Snack tours, where visitors can experience Japan's unique "snack bar culture," are gaining attention from foreign tourists worldwide.
Held in over 20 locations across 10 prefectures nationwide, these tours showcase the new charm and value of Japan's nightlife, including in Tokyo, through interaction with unique snack bars and their "mamas" (madames) in each region.
What is Snack Yokocho?
"Snack Yokochō" is a company headed by Mayuko Igarashi, "Snack Girl"® who has visited over 1,300 snack bars nationwide. While valuing the warm communication between mama-san and customers, we are promoting the charm of "snack bars," a unique Japanese drinking culture. We are challenging ourselves to build an innovative snack bar platform like never before, through community development, events, tours, corporate collaborations, and inbound tourism initiatives.
How about we hold an event in collaboration with a snack company?

Whenever and wherever you want a drink.
Snack Yokochō is a platform that connects snack bar proprietors ("mama-sans") from across Japan and the world with customers. We are expanding the possibilities of snack bar culture in unprecedented ways, including events, tours, media outreach, corporate office snack bars, inbound tourism projects, and even supporting those who aspire to become mama-sans.
Together with our member snack bars and mama-sans, we create warm communication spaces where people can naturally connect, developing Japan's unique "snack bar culture" for future generations.
