Snack bar girl: Who is Mayuko Igarashi?

After her first snack bar experience, she spent about 10 years opening the doors of approximately 700 establishments herself, and
created "Snack Entertainment" to liven up the snack bar industry.
In May 2020, to support snack bars that were severely hit by the COVID-19 pandemic,
"Online Snack Yokocho" was launched.
Currently, over 90 snack bars worldwide are affiliated, making it the largest online platform in Japan.
Believing that snack bars, as a cultural content of Japan, would lead to the "revitalization of the nighttime economy,"
in 2023, she launched the "Snack Tour for Foreigners,"
which has seen a rapid increase in foreign participants seeking undiscovered culture.
In the same year, the "Beginner Tour for Japanese" also started,
with about 80% of participants being from Generation Z.
She now appears on numerous media outlets, including television, and is actively involved in various activities such as supervising snack bar events for companies and local governments.
